GT Stelvio

One of the most anticipated events of the year, the GT Stelvio, took place on Saturday, July 2 and Sunday, July 3, 2022. After a hearty breakfast at the event’s main sponsor, the Winteler garage in Giubiasco, the caravan set off for a series of Alpine passes. After nearly 4 hours of adrenaline-pumping driving and breathtaking scenery, it was time for lunch: the renowned Salastrain restaurant in St Moritz delighted those in attendance with a range of local dishes, all under the sun. In the afternoon, the group continued on its way to Livigno for the second driving portion of the day.

Arriving in Livigno, guests were able to go shopping, have an aperitif or rest at the hotel we had reserved exclusively for us: the Hotel Vetta, built entirely of wood and with rooms equipped with a sauna, Turkish bath or private emotional shower. In the evening, to continue the unforgettable weekend, guests were pampered by the La Posa restaurant: first with a rich aperitif outside, and then continuing inside with delicacies for true connoisseurs.

Sunday morning was no less: the caravan regained the roads and traveled over one of the most iconic passes, the Stelvio. After a morning at the wheel, guests enjoyed a select lunch with stunning views of the Sondrio region at the Poggio restaurant-a great way to end the weekend and start the week anew with many fond memories!
