Piemonte Weekend Tour

On November 12, 13 and 14, 2021, the Piedmont Weekend Tour took place, a 3-day event dedicated to all lovers of good food and the white truffle of Alba. After the meeting at the Agency’s Hotel and the following check-in and relaxation in their rooms, the group reached Bovio Ristorante to have dinner with a delicious menu of truffles and excellent wines.

On Saturday morning, after a rich breakfast, the group reached Cantine Domenico Clerico, where participants had a wonderful visit in the cellar and a tasting of six Clerico labels. Lunch was held at Antinè Restaurant in Barbaresco. Here, a delicious gourmet menu of truffle was the protagonist of the lunch break together with a good glass of bubbles and an excellent glass of red wine. After returning to the hotel and a well deserved moment of relax, dinner was held at Borgo Sant’Anna, a restaurant which boasts 1 Michelin Star. Here an excellent tasting menu, with truffle dishes accompanied by an excellent bubbly and a selected red wine, was served in the room with the open kitchen where an exciting show-cooking allowed to see the chef and his brigade at work during the preparation of all the dishes.

On Sunday, after breakfast and check-out, the group headed towards the last stop of these fantastic three days: The Narrating Village in Fontanafredda. Here another activity entirely dedicated to truffles took place: with the “trifolao” and his faithful dog, the participants discovered some curiosities about truffles and then actively assisted to their search in the wonderful woods of Fontanafredda. The day ended with a lunch at Guido Ristorante with an excellent author’s menu with 1 Michelin Star.
